It should cost 0 points, be instantly equipable, and be usable in all situations!

All of this, but also they need to adjust how much light blinds you when using nightvision. Even the smallest streetlight/car headlight is blinding enough to block out 90% of your screen making it impossible to see anything in that direction, and every map is like that with lights everywhere. Either the NV needs to be adjusted, or a lot of these lights removed from the night maps. NV is useless if you spend more time blinded by light than seeing in the dark.

balance reasons, they did it during beta and i personally complained that it will be too easy just run across whole map with NVG always on.

You guys should've seen how easy it was a month ago in beta. Almost all of us complained. This implimentation is GOOD. Think about it. What would be the difference of night maps if night vision was just "daytime with a green filter"

I like the way NV works, the blinding adds a new tactical element to the battles. However the 3 supply points is a bit much. It mostly leads to low tech battles, you jsut start with 7 points instead of 10. Perhaps a low visibilty holo sight might be a nice piece of gear between Flashlight (1SP) and NV goggles (3SP). A 2 supply point holo sight that illuminates the level slightly would be good one.

For me the night vision is great.

Havent seen any "holo sight that illuminates the level slightly" IRL.
NV monocular mounted behind holo/aimpoint would be pretty great though.

It's 2 for Security. Guess devs want you to mostly use flares as terrorists.

I wasn't thinking realism, but gamepaly wise. What I meant was a solution in between, not full night vision but a better way to spot targets.
