[Solved] Alternative modes?

Hi everyone,
I remember unlocking several alternative modes (like large planet, god mode for the giants, random ambassadors available from the start, etc.). But after uploading the game a few weeks back, I can't find those modes anymore.

Any ideas?

Hello, in order to get those "alt mods" you need to click on "advanced" after going into the "new game" menu :).
You will play the era selected with the advanced setup you chose.

Hi,
I should have explained better. I know of the "advanced menu". The thing is that menu disappeared after uploading the game, now I only have the basic options (tutorials, 30 to 120 min era) and no advanced. I tried uninstalling the game and redownloading it, verified the cach files too.

My bad, I meant "updating" with the patch they released last June.

You need to activate it in order to get access to advanced menu options :)

how do you activate the beta branch? it needs a password?

No password, just right click on the game>properties>beta> select beta in the menu
