maybe this is a stupid question, but how do you manually expand the borders of your village? or is it just random?

You can't force it or do it manually. It is automatic.

There are somethings that influence the expansion of a border, such as:

- The border expands slower if there is a mountain;
- The border expands slower if there is dangerous animais;

I have a question too, and since i didn't tinker with borders:

Does the border expansion have any relation with the total prosperity of the town? Or it is just the passage of time?

One time i neglected one town in a 2 hour era. Aftter a long time, i went to check it, and the town had huge borders, despite having very low prosperity.

I understood that time is the main factor into expanding borders :). They made a calculation to know how much time it would take for a village to get the entire earth ahah.

Thanks, Touriste! The link answered my question: it is solely the passage of time, with minor influence of other things, but prosperity isn't one of those things.
