So, there is a new Amnesia right around the corner, do we know anything about the Linux port (system requirements, CS support, ect)?

Yeah, I did some poking around and it seems there is no custom story support....ugh

Seeing as Frictional cut their teeth in the industry going the extra mile to have Linux and Mac OS X support ever since their tech demo days back in 2006.

As of right now every single game they've ever made has a Linux port so I doubt they'd stop any time soon. On top of that they've been in the Humble Bundle I think twice so far with the original Penumbra: Overture.

So as far as Linux support they are pretty much a gold standard, not bad for a team of like 3 Swedes that decided to lock themselves in the basement and make some of the scariest games ever.

Actually it's not a port. The whole HPL2 engine is multi platform and uses OpenGL.
I can't wait for this game. The Dark Descent is awesome and this is going to be even better.

I wonder why there is no CS support this time around. It was the best thing about the first Amnesia.

Well.... there is almost always a way to Mod any particular game, its just easier with official support and kits to do so.
