报告翻译问题
I think this game is great. I paid almost full price for it and I do not regret it. I wish that more games made me care about their characters as much as this game did... And this game only used rectangles as characters.

Basically Thomas and the others die, this allows other AIs to escape to the real world. The world struggles as the AIs fight the humans for equal rights, i.e. like 50s-60s era US - some violence, but mostly political activism.
My only problem with the ending is that not all of the architects' abilities are used. There needed to be an orange shifter that shrunk large shapes down allowing them to fit in small spaces (e.g. if the very last gap in 9.10 was only big enough for Sam, and Joe had to shrink to his size to exit), and yellow ones that let them jump really far (could have been swapped out for purple shifters in some places without even changing the level).

Could hardly have said it better OP. Thomas has nothing to do with the ending in spite of being the titular character, which would be fine if some of the other gang had figured or they'd introduced Paul/Gray/etc. earlier. As it is, why is it a bad thing that Gray wants to escape? He only appears to decide to want to destroy everyone else later. Where does the Jump team go? Why is the story so forthcoming with the chapter intro quotes if it gives so little at the end. It felt silly, honestly, though I am floored by how much charm they managed to pack into rectangles.
Story gets an A- from me. I was impressed, even if I thought there was more easily within reach.
@Pitt Man 66 - I'm pretty sure the second story symbolizes the AIs going out to the real world, as with the ending where the screens turn on, with the white screens.
