Buildings are fully upraded right at the start
I've just downloaded KSP full version a couple of hours ago and am so fkg frustrated right now. The game however won't start career mode without upgrading its buildings to full level. I'm simply not possible to get started with career mode because of all those strange issues. Also I'm not possible to earn money, better said money is simply not available....

what the heck?

I informed myself already a bit about these 32/ 64 bit problems in KPS.... but is that the reason? How can I start the 32 bit version under mac?

pls help me! :(

Well thats definately a problem, current version is v1.05.1028

Close out of KSP and right click on it in your library.

Click properties and select the betas tab and make sure the drop menue is set to "None - Opt out of all beta programs."

oh.... ♥♥♥♥♥? I downloaded here from steam?!

I give it a try! Thanks so far!

Thats whats got me puzzled. It should be automaticly updating. Even the "previous stable build" option under betas should have career mode.

As for screenshots, just copy paste the image link from your screenshots section in here.

Is your steam client up to date?

Built: Dec 14, 2015
Steam API: v017
Steam Package Versions: 1450127196

(check help, then about steam at the top of the steam client)

Could that cause the issue? No, it's not. I'm upgrading it right now.
Nadlug Jan 1, 2016 @ 11:24am
It is possible. At the very least its something worth trying.

I upgrade it now and hope it'll work after that! Thank you so much! Hold on for a couple of minutes. I'll keep you updated.

Can do, another thing worth asking. is it possible that you might be using a cracked executable?
That might also prevent the game from updating, If so simply delete SKP.exe and Launcher.exe then Revalidate your game files to redownload the official executables from steam.

If that dosent get it, uninstall the game then go to Steam/steamapps/common/ and delete the Kerbal space program folder if it is there. Then redownload the game.

No, I've been using the version of steam from scratch. I updated my steam version and am trying to solve the prolbem by downloading KSP another time from steam. I hope it works.

Still doesn't work. Updated steam and reinstalled the whole thing...

:(

Well I must admit im rather perplexed. Unless there is something serously wrong with the steam download servers right now (which is entierly possible) it should be downloading v1.05.

You might want to post your issue over on the offical KSP forums http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/.

Include a link to this thread so that people can see waht we have tried so far.
