What aspect of yourself was the biggest obstacle?

My biggest problem was not figuring out that you could grow a garden anywhere, despite having done it several times already by accident. My first run was several hours longer than my second because of this, but there were other factors involved (like getting to The End when there was still stuff I needed to learn).

The mechanic that took me the longest time to understand was the disintegrating blocks. I kept on accidentally losing blocks to the mechanic and failing puzzles until I finally decided to experiment with it a bit. Still the hardest mechanic to use correctly IMO!

I tended to fixate on an obstacle, not realizing that I needed to do something somewhere else first before I could pass it. After sleeping, I usually approached the problem from a different perspective and was able to pass it without issue. Weird, but it wokred.

I didnt realise that when controlling the motion of blocks with the yellow gun, you can move the gun over the specific block of the chain that you want to be the 'lead' block (the one that will move first). This caused nightmares for me when I was trying to complete the puzzle to get to the red gun, I thought I knew exactly how to solve it, and I did, but forgetting that cause me to waste at least an hour.
