The game is not in development, just some minor updates and patches would have to be applied; we believe that once the unobtainable pink cubes are fixed, then they will somehow be used to open the Under Construction door behind which will be a new Dev Room.
There is no need for Steam Workshop integration. Also, all the map room models and everything was custom made in UDK, so it wouldn't be possible to add in your own puzzles/areas even if you knew how to use UDK. The Antichamber map files do not load into UDK because the models aren't included in the consumer version of the game, it just freezes the application if you try to open the map files.
