Is possible in this game disconnect and don't get a loss?

I was try some ranked game today, and in half of them ppl disconnect from the game.
I was stuck in a froze game for many minute before close the program and enter again.

If this is possible do something like that in this game... it's PURE $H1T.

I hope that's a main server problem and not an option for looser to avoid loss otherwise ranking have no sence.

I remember that I have matched with you(skydancer). While playing game, I lost connection several times. I have never disconnected for avoiding loss. This happens only for me?

Uhm i ask because i played 40 or more match in the past 2 days and never happen, today i try ranking and half of my game result in connection problem... so i was suspicious that ppl disconnect for avoid loss.. if that's possible and server didn't punis that but let you stuck in a frozen game... well i just going to delete this and go back on Dogs of War Online.

They had server problems today, I guess. Every 2 - 3 games I played got disconnected. My bet is with the release of Saga their servers for Factions is now overrun.

Even if they disconnect in ranked, who cares? Cos you get all the Renown you'd normally get, right? i mean yeah, zero points for you for ranking, but still get Renowns.

What's the problem? Why play ranked if you don't get ranked?

Desync now in friends-play. The 1st time i have this...restartet game now its endless loading Screen, nice! WTF is going on here!? So endless loading Screen, game not working anymore!

Seems like game servers are struggling with the overload of new players. Hopefully the devs will address this asap.

Normally, when a match "hangs" from a server-problem, then one of two things happen: (1) either nobody gets nothing, renown or win/loss i mean, or (2) both players get full renown as if they won. However, it could happen that a "Stormy Seas" could lose you a match... Not sure there.

Using Alt+F4 to drop out of a ranked match (and not count as a loss) was something that was addressed a long time ago. Now, if your connection or game-client drops while in a ranked/tournament match, then it counts as a loss.
