Hello all, starting tomorrow (SUNDAY 25th SEPT. 2 PM GMT) I will be doing give-aways 4 times a day, from Sept 25th to Oct 25th, on my steam profile wall.

And try to give 20-30 keys per give-away.

GUIDELINES (THIS IS IMPORTANT):

I will be removing the first letter/number for each code. And giving a hint word/phrase like, "WOLF".

where "1" is the first letter/number removed from a code. And codes have 15 alpha-numeric letters.

In this case, there are 20 codes. The first 5 will require a "W" to be placed in front. The next 5 will require an "O". ETC.

The times are:

2 PM GMT
5 PM GMT
9 PM GMT
2:30 AM GMT

Do's:

• Friend requests for steam are LIMITED to people with who have been banned for cheating, and want to go through the unbanning process.
  
  
• Keep an eye in bug reporting between times as well. If I lock a thread I will be dropping a few keys there too. I will start doing this on FRIDAY the 23RD of SEPT.
  
  
• Feel free to sub to my wall for this event. But after it is over I request that you, for your own sanity, unsub from it.

Don'ts:

• DO NOT PM ME ON REDDIT ASKING FOR KEYS. I will NOT be checking my reddit inbox for this period of time.
  
  
• DO NOT ADD ME FOR KEYS. Once we get to Oct 22nd, I will open up my wall and accept requests for keys. I WILL UNFRIEND IMMEDIATELY AND BLOCK IF YOU DO THIS BEFORE OCT 22ND!
  
  
• DO NOT DERAIL THREADS ASKING FOR KEYS IN BUG REPORTING. THIS IS NOT OK, AND DISRESPECTFUL TO PEOPLE POSTING THEIR PROBLEMS.
  
  
• DO NOT CREATE THREADS ASKING FOR KEYS IN BUG REPORTING. THIS IS MIS-USING THE BUG REPORT SUBFORUM. THESE THREADS WILL BE LOCKED.

I am doing it this way because I can manage my comments notifications for steam (as there is no way to seperate comment notifications), and not get spammed everywhere.

Also, steam has a comment notification limit of 100 posts.

Due to some rather unforeseen circumstances, Melons's giveaway times are going to be delayed a few days.


"UPDATE:



So, a technician came by my apartment complex today. And completely disconnected my apt's internet access. Despite us paying the bills and such on time. Likely he had to fiddle with some other tenant's internet, and wrecked ours in the process. Not intentionally I'm sure.



This is not the first time we've had internet problems, nor will it be the last. I was going to sit on my laptop and go to my local university and bum wifi off of them. Unfortunately my laptop's wifi has completely died. This is what happens when you have an old laptop and don't use it for a long time.



I do not feel comfortable sitting on my uni's computers all day to do this give away (as I'd need to either do multiple trips a day back and forth from home to my uni and back, which is NOT going to happen, or I'd need to sit on their computers all day). So I will be DELAYING the give-away until further notice.



I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience this may cause people. For each day this is delayed, I will add another day to the end date.



I hope to get this resolved tomorrow (FRIDAY). But since it is Thursday night where I live, I expect it won't be addressed by my local ISP till as late as Monday. This is because I live in the boonies.



Again, I am sorry about the inconvenience this may cause, but my hands are mostly tied. I am very angry about this myself, and am very frustrated with my ISP over it. I can understand any frustration this causes people, but the give away will NOT be cut short.



While I do not expect issues like this to happen for the duration of this give-away (5 weeks), they can happen. That's life. ♥♥♥♥ happens."
