Humble Bundle GOTY edition

As many of you are aware, the GOTY edition sold in the humble bundle had more DLC than the correct version available on Steam. This is a result of some mistakenly delivered steam keys and they will be replaced with the regular GOTY version.

Anyone who got the "wrong" version will of course, keep them, those bought after the new codes are delivered (which should be any time now) to will be the version advertised on the humble bundle site.

We apologize for the confusion this may have caused.

So which ones were accidentally included? And why not take this opportunity to add more to update GOTY on Steam instead of "correcting" the one on Humble Bundle?

No, not at this point. It was the GOTY with a bunch of extras all baked in to one basically.

This is fine unless they got the COVP in too, in that case the COVP should be removed anyway, it was a limited DLC

The shipped the GOTY 2015 codes into that, unintentionally.

You wish it would have been inside. Of course it was not part of the GOTY

To the topic: so is the list of DLCs in the description of the GOTY on HB (not the Steam GOTY if anyone mistakes me) the correct one? Are there even more or less DLCs attached to that version? The list I'm talking about is this one:

PAYDAY 2, Armored Transport DLC, Clover Character Pack, Gage Assault Pack, Gage Historical Pack, Gage Mod Courier Pack, Gage Shotgun Pack, Gage Sniper Pack, Gage Weapon Pack #01, Gage Weapon Pack #02, Hotline Miami DLC, The Big Bank Heist DLC, The Diamond Heist DLC, The Official Soundtrack and A Merry Payday Christmas Soundtrack.

That's description was taken directly from steam and is for the GOTY while the HB version contained more dlcs than those listed.

With all due respect but if you made a mistake why not simply stand by it instead of passing on the problem to the customers ?

Because they are standing by it. Anyone who recieved the additional DLC packs will be allowed to keep them, however future GOTY releases will be corrected.

Standing by your mistake doesn't require you to keep making it.

And on that note, just increased my donation amount to get the T2 rewards. Got one of the keys with extra dlc in it.
