See if you have a 32-bit operating system. The game is optimized for 64-bit and I know people who crash with 32 often.

It's the new update. They have said to have fixed the crash that was put out with the new patch but id have to say that was false. Game still crashes after the new patch. It crashes on me all the time now when it used to never crash.

I am running windows 7 64bit, Intel i5-2500K CPU, AMD 6870 Black Edition, 8GB of 1600mhz RAM.

1. Make sure your graphics driver is up to date.
2. Run DirectX Diagnostic tool by typing "dxdiag" into an explorer address bar. Look for errors, etc.
3. Make sure you have at least 1.5 times the amount of RAM you have empty on your harddrive for your page file (I would think at least 4gb free space minimum). Of course you need to have a page file enabled too...
4. As soon as it crashes, check temps on your hd, gpu, and cpu. Phenom 4 should run below 65c, not sure about your gpu or hd. Of course all acceptable temps are relative to specific models anyways.
5. Try shutting off startup programs using msconfig. Force non-essential programs and services using taskmanager before you play.

Just a few ideas... real problem could be a million different things.

What kind of burrito? :o
Try disabling your antivirus (I use AVG) for 5 minuets, just long enough to get into the game.

I was having a G37 error for a while and doing the above fixed it, and no longer even need to disable AVG at all now.

well i had the memory leak and flickering screen that eventualy lead to a crash, so i downloaded a program called CleanMem 2.4.3 installed it, "it´s free by the way" and memory setup just accept all by pressing next. Now no more memory leak or flickering, or even a crash in a week now. I`m on Win 7 64 bit, 6gb of ram, gtx580.
