I'd been doing fine with most things before this update, but no matter how I try and balance my perma-upgrades, I can't seem to even beat the first boss in Faerie Caps. Maxing Attack Speed doesn't feel like it does anything, so I can't figure out how to get out enough attacks without being completely overwhelmed. Any advice?...

While we're in Early Access, we have several things planned for updates. These are in no particular order, and may change as we hear community feedback or find that the plan needs to change. Add attack types for enemies. Add the Shepherd character and the Holy Cow attack. Add Chippy enemy. Dungeons? Add shrines that award temporary bonuses. Add Martial Arts character and Parry attack. Add Emby and Bunnify attack. Add Elemental Evolutions to all attacks and how to unlock them...

So other than item count type do the meta upgrades have a cap? Might be nice if they said X of __ just so we knew how far it went. I've sunk so much into XP and have no idea if it stops

In general I'm fine with the game slowing down, I'm used to that from nes games and it feels kind of nice to be making the game work. What I'm wondering is how I can work around the slowdown as a player. If I want to search a map for an unmarked crystal then it's no fun to slog around at 1/5th speed. -Does the game track enemies I scroll offscreen? Or coins/crystals? -Does the size of my attacks matter? -Are lingering attacks better/worse than rapid firing ones? -Do map icons contribute? Should I be grabbi...

These weapons feel kind of boring. My favorite thing about Vampire Survivors and Halls of Torment is the moment we all wait for, when all weapons are upgraded, and you can practically just stand there and see death around you, or mow down enemies without ever needing to stop. In this game? My weapons are fully upgraded and I still have to worry about enemies coming at me.
