Aren't they gonna remove inactive accounts? I hope not, someone just told me, just need to clarify this. Please provide me a link for source.

For accounts that have not been touched from 2013-2016, characters - not accounts - are renamed to a series of random numbers and/or letters. This is to free up available names so that people don't need to worry as much for creating a unique (and sometimes stupid) ign.
