Free to play... to a point
You have not even played the game that it's already asking you money... only 3 classes are available without paying.
And of course you realize that after having customized a locked class for 5 minutes.
If you want money, make it a pay game. If it's F2P, don't ask money before I even started to play the game. Uninstalled without further testing, you're not seeing me back.

So you quit just because they're making you pay for a certain class.
Allllrighty then.

Sounds like your upset at the fact that you can't have premium content for free.
RadyVT 13. März 2013 um 13:16
Leading from how you are acting, you don't even deserve to play

Sounds like he has a fair complaint.
According to what I've read you can buy classes with in-game currency. But I'm not sure.

Everybody is free to like it or not. For me more paying content than free content is not premium... it's just a bait to get me in and get my money. But it's just my opinion, you are free to make your own choices as a human being ;-)
EDIT: @Nickolas Cat as a human being, you are free as well to judge me and call me worthy or not to play. I am myself free to think whatever I wish of you, but since I realize it might be a poor judgement given how much I know of you, I'll keep it for myself...

Yeah, because they're SUCH bad people for wanting to earn profit from their playerbase for making them this FREE game.

Ok, this will be my last comment... I'm ok for dev wanting to make money. I still have models that I like more than others. This model I don't like. It's just my personal opinion, and I thought I'd share it in case other people would think the same so that they don't waste time with this one... again, it's just my view, it's not a definitive judgement of this game or its devs.
Do what you want with it :-)

I think F2P should follow the LoL model. It seems more people are willing to pay for that.
Like make a class free for a week and rotate it every week.
It would let people test the class out and they will be more willing to buy the class.

I don't like the LoL model at all. In my opinion HoN made it better by taking nearly the same system but also allowing to try the characters in a singleplayer mode so you don't have to wait months to get able to try a character that looks interesting. Also the rotation works a little bit else there, faster I think but I'm not sure.

Please god no. The LoL model is terrible. The Dota 2 way is obviously way better. LoL is borderline pay 2 win, since champs and rune pages give you an advantage.

not really pay to win, runes don't cause that much difference exept when higher up in ranked where everyone has played so many games that they have a lot of LP, and hence do not need to pay.
Itherei 13. März 2013 um 14:45
You don't have to pay real money to buy champs or runes.

Here we go, insert argument about a p2w game is f2p game.

Meh of course we all know there is no such thing as free, move on who cares.
