DOES NOT WORK, DO NOT BUY
This is a warning to others. I was unaware this game would not support any resolution on a 16:10 monitor (ie, the common 1680x1050), and therefore it is unsuitable for purchase with todays generation of hardware. You may enjoy this game if you currently play on a system in 1280x1024 resolution...

It's simply a technical fact that this game does not support 16:10 (widescreen) resolutions. No amount of ad hominem attack changes that.
thanks for the comment cypher, that is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, i was just about to buy the game, but you saved me the money. Thankyou!
16:9 is way more common than 16:10. It works for me.

The D3D device has a non-zero reference count, meaning some objects were not released.

Does not support widescreen? Than what are those 16:9 resolutions I see? The lack of support of 16:10 resolution is just lazy. And if they added that in patch, I see no reason why 16:10 is still missing.

Yeah, I just love those kind of games where they kindly offer you tons of DLC "worth" 100€ or more.

10€ for a single table? That's a joke, right?

Not working for me either :(
I use a 16:10 but I've played games where the resolution has to force itself to something strange simply for the fact that the game play is dependent on a tall thin board.

For example "Intake" squashes itself so you have a longer way to the bottom for the pills to fall...if otherwise it would be impossible to play because the pills spawning point would be far too close the bottom of the screen.

So I have to ask - Even if this game does not support top resolutions on a 16:10 is it still playable when lowering the resolutions?

This game worked fine for me a long time ago, but now i have the D3D device error :(
Oh, so the game offers 16:9 option withotu any actual 16:9 resolution. Additionaly PCGGamingWiki says the games widescreen option is just stretched.

Well just played it and worked just fine. So there might be something causing the problem on your end.
I don't know why i can't to play it, then. Menu runs correctly but when i try to play any table i get this error: "The D3D device has a non-zero reference count, meaning some objects were not released." A compatibility problem with NVIDIA latest drivers, perhaps?

Edit: I removed appcache folder and runs fine again.

Well I am using those drivers too, so that seems unlikely. Version 340.52 to be specific.
I saw someone suggesting trying to download http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35 to see it that fixes this error. Albeit that was for PoE, but exactly same error.

The other thing that might help would be deleting config file. But heck if I could fine where that is. No luck in AppData, Documents, ProgramData, Steam userdata, game folder.

Maybe tryign to delete the whole game manualy and re-downloading?
