Petition to REMOVE STUPID CAPTURE POINTS

I have an extreme huge hate for Capture Points in this game... It takes away the tactic and foces you to defend a pathetic area on the map...
It prevents me from using the area, I see huge hills which would be very usefull for my ranged units... I see forest which make me wanna hide my troops... I see a river and I wanna prevent them from crossing....

BUT ♥♥♥♥ING NO! GO DEFEND THAT CAPTURE POINT IN THE MIDDLE OF ♥♥♥♥ING NOWHERE! I lost allready couple of battles where I had the majority of units but lost because some enemy unit captured it, forced me to haste my return...

I just want Capture Points GONE! Including from cities! In history no victory was won by conquering a victory point... All were won by defeating the enemy army (breaking them down or massacre)...

I beg you guys to promote my cause and to make stupid capture points disapear from strategy games where hills, forest and other strategic points have a great influence...

i take it you mean capture points in the feild battles and not the city battles.

Get rid of capture points in open field battles also get rid of burning down gates - signed

The fact you can burn wooden down gates but not the wooden wall is no sense :)

I'm waiting to get this later after things are working smoothly. I agree these flags seem to be the worst idea. Siege battles it's iffy but it makes no sense on a open field why would your men just surrender because the enemy raises their banner on a section of the map for a few seconds. Makes no sense. I hope Ca does take them out but they prob won't. I hope modders can get rid of them though,

I agree capture points are silly. I dont mind them in siege battles.
But any other battle the should not exist.

This, burning down gates is retarded. Its more effective then actually using seige equipment.

I mean bouth! Even in cities they are stupid... I won a city where I was clearly losing... but I managed to get the capture point... so I won the city and the enemy army inside that city simply disapeared... so realistic... I'll try to conquer Berlin with some of my friends by standing on a capture point for 50-100 seconds, then the police and German army are forced to lay down weapons because according to this game... Berlin is mine!

ill be honest i have only seen them when i was defending. then again ive only fought the defensive battles personally.

if you have such a problem with the game dont play it then or how about you wait for the game to be fixed with patches before you make a petition to change a game that you bought at your own free will
