Why won't the game work?

I've just bought the game and the Spartan and blood n gore DLC all at the same time. I start playing the game and it works perfectly fine untill I get a random " The game has stopped responding" message I've tested the graphics etc... Nothing is being over hauled. Any help is accepted? I'm SERIOUSLY pissed off at how this game is right now.
