help!!!! i cant get my rome 2 dlc

last week i ore ordered the hanibal at the gates dlc and today it came out but when i open the game i get a pop up saying that i have the dlc but i have to restart my game to get it. i have tried everything, turning off y computer, exiting steam and logging out turning off my wifi and much more but i still get the same stupid message when i open rome 2 again. the dlc isnt downloading as though if i dont have it but when i look at the steam store it says i do and i can click here to play but when i click there to play i get the same thing even still. its an infinite loop and im quite fustrated, i spent 15 dollars for this dlc and was looking forward to it so if anyone can give me any peice of advice please do so, i would be very gratfull

your very rite about that the day before the lauch of caesar in gaul dlc patch everyone believed they could play rite away beacause the main screen of the game ad change from red to green in other words the main screen ad the caesar in gaul colors but whe could not actualy play it whe all ad to wait for the next day . but one thing is strange about the hannibal at the gates dlc patch is that i cant see the countdown of the remaning hours and minutes before the lauch witch i remember caesar in gaul ad.
