Controll issues

Im on the Asus G74sx laptop. The game-menu acts like im holding down the arrow up key constantly. I also had this issue with another game (need for speeed underground). I don't have any controlers installed.

Resolved:
I had a virtual joystick device installed on my computer, related to an IR tracking program. Disabling it in the device maneger resolved this issue.

So to correct my question, I actually had an controler installed, and disabling it worked.
