Air purification...on/off?

It seems like sometimes when I turn the air purification ON, the room gets foggy...but sometimes it seems like the same thing happens when I turn it off.

My question is...how exactly does the purification work? If you want the room foggy, do you turn the system on or off?

Or maybe its situational? Like sometimes it's on or sometimes it's off?

Yes, when you turn it off, it's on instead. I think this is a bug. I often see that after I turned it off and returned to the rewire, I would see the status become on. That's why when you turned it off, it's actually turning on because the status indicator is wrong or switched.

I think it's supposed to look cloudy when the purifier is OFF.

The room becomes foggy when it's turned off. It automatically turns on after a while, so you'd have to turn it off again. It's not a bug.

It's called "air purification", so how would seeing dirty air make sense when it's turned on?

I remember I found same issue with the door lock, it's showing Active but the door was in locked condition.
