Steam-punk mecha match three game with persistant upgrades between plays, and as bonkers as that combo is they made it work.
Heck, even the store blurb is: 'Puzzle Quest meets FTL.'
Not for everybody, but it's got a ton of charm and really nailed that: 'GHA! I was so, so close! Just one more tr— What do you mean it's 4 AM, Mr. Clock?' thing FTL has.
And mods. Ship mods are really nice for something a little extra but not overkill (like CE).
