Games similar to FTL

Any hardcore roguelike fans here? I recently saw Convoy which is similar to FTL.
Are there anymore out there on Steam? Sunless Sea maybe?

Been recently playing Ironcast.

Steam-punk mecha match three game with persistant upgrades between plays, and as bonkers as that combo is they made it work.

Heck, even the store blurb is: 'Puzzle Quest meets FTL.'

Not for everybody, but it's got a ton of charm and really nailed that: 'GHA! I was so, so close! Just one more tr— What do you mean it's 4 AM, Mr. Clock?' thing FTL has.

Why would you play any other game though? FTL has great replayability, just ramp up difficulty and do challenge/no-pause runs etc etc.

And mods. Ship mods are really nice for something a little extra but not overkill (like CE).

There is no overkill, just open fire and need to reload.

If your looking for a game with similar game mech as FTL there's Redcon its quite good. A board game called Red November.

I highly value Convoy and Redcon too. Except Redcon is linear but still tough and enjoyable.

Not anytime soon, although we are expecting a new game called "into the breach" by the devs.It looks pretty good too.
