Game population

How is the population of the game ? i see on steam status there's almost 3k people on game is this what presents the total amount of players in-game ?

It's not the total population, just who launched through steam. There are a bunch of servers and the populations vary. Brandywine (US server) is usually considered to have the highest count.

When Lotro went in Free to play mode, there was about 4 milion players for world wide. Today i think its lees than 2 million. Still, its good buch.

indeed, most of them just dont launch through steam (they would have had to redownload the game for the most part)

I can just agree vonBork: I am playing on Brandywine and there are tons of players. I am now level 41 and since level 1 i meet at every corner a bunch of people. :) Even in the free world - everywhere are people farming, questing, riding... :) Give it a shoot! :)

Most of us don't launch the game through Steam. As for servers, Brandywine, Elendilmir and Landroval are some of the larger population servers. I don't know of the other server populations.
