You'll need to get the code and add it into your account with turbine.

In your game library rclick on lotro and select downloadable content, that gives the code.

The lotro launcher has a button that should take you to the account page for turbine, just add it there and log back into the game.

Same here, does it maybe take a while to activate on our accounts or do we have to do something ?

You have to use the product key you recieved for purchasing the content on your turbine account page. You enter the code there and it will update you Lotro Account.

In other words, the deal is offered through steam, but you still have to register it on your turbine account.

This is what I thought, however there is no product key. I have received no product key via email nor is there one in the "View downloadable content" section. It does show the DLC I have purchased, just no key ?

Hey guys, I bought the Steely Dawn pack and ran into the same problem but I have found a solution. If you activate Big Picture mode on the Steam client, go to Library and click on LOTRO, then go the Links and More and at the bottom there should be a link that says View CD key. It is here that you can get the code for the starter pack. It was stupid for them not to put that on the regular Library page.

Yeah because people today (and OP and others here too) are seemingly overstrained with the use of a simple search function.. (or for that matter, just check page no.1 in this forum).. because there is new threads everyday with the same questionn :p
Wolmsh 19. nov. 2013 kl. 10:17
uhh this was before there was a single thread about this problem so yeah
