Logitech G27 Racing Wheel For the PC
Just curious to know whether this is compatible with the Logitech G27 Racing wheel? or any other sort of simulated force feedback wheel or Joystick ???

It wouldn't be officially compatible and isn't really suited to the game anyway. SASRT requires dual sticks (vertical axis needed for planes, right stick does tricks).

Pfft, I configured my controller so that the second stick does nothing; I stunt with the D-Pad.

You should be able to configure the controller through the config tool to work. If the controller uses DirectInput, you may have difficulty navigating menus. Flight sections would be an issue without a Y-Axis though; if your wheel has a D-pad in the middle, you may be able to use your thumb for that, but I don't think that would work well. End result is doable, but probably not practical.

How do you drift roll? :O

If you're talking "roll while drifting in flight", I don't, and don't need to; when I do I'm just not adjusting the drift rate, and rolling from a neutral drift corner (if that makes any sense). If you're talking "roll while drifting off jumps", I do it very carefully. My controller's mapped to feel like the classic controller did for Mario Kart Wii.

Some dexterity required...

Nah, usually I just take my thumb off the steering stick for a stunt or four.
Soo obviously u can configure it to work but does it also enable Force feedback? I going to spend a little bit of cash and create some sort of arcade pc thing with this but dont want to fork out 300+ on a wheel that doesnt even work :)

Deciding if you should purchase a logitech g27 based on wether it can be used with Sonic Racing Transformed? You're weird and you have too much money :) I say go for it!
Ill upload a video soon but have decided only to purchase the the force GT Wheel which is 150$ less but with similar results and same compatibility. Seriously This is the best arcade kart racer/flyer/umm boater? I have ever played and want to create an arcade out of it.. If you know whether the force feedback works or whether its worth investing as a little hobby would be gratefully appreciated :)
Lol I wish but no, i just consider this a cheap hobby comparing it to the likes of people who do up older cars etc soo meh. Im just an average guy with an average wage mate, just willing to blow the bills for a little entertainment, cant be good ALL the time haha

This looks like a job for PPJoy + GlovePIE + decent Wii Wheel script - Oh, yeah, that's right.... the first live update and every other update prior to it breaks support for PPJoy.
I'm not sure about force feedback to be honest, my Logitech RumblePad 2 supports it but it never works with anything, let alone this game.
a racing wheel would be cool, but I'd prefer a flight stick for the plane sequences, especially the after burner stage.
