Local game saves?

Currently the game only saves progress to the Steam account through the cloud service (hence why saving is disabled while in Offline Mode), but is it possible for you guys to make it so that it saves progress to the hard drive as well? It'd be great if I could save progress on single-player while I'm on the go (playing on a laptop) and without internet connection. :o

Well that's only for LOADING your saves when you're in Offline Mode, the game will refuse to save further progress unless you go online. :\

I think the reason for this is to avoid gamesave cheating. I don't think there is anything to do about it.

I've never lost my progress, I've played a lot in offline mode. I think the "saving disabled" prompt at startup is a lie.
