Won't Boot with Windows 10 Update
I updated from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 this weekend, and since doing so I have been unable to get SART to boot up. I have attempted to run the game in configure mode, and uninstalled/reinstalled the game to no avail. I have updated my NVIDIA driver, and made sure that the launcher is allowed through my firewall..

Any suggestions so that I can play this game again?

Hi,

What happens when you try to launch the game precisely?

When I press the "Play" button in the library, it asks me if I want to play the game or configure, and no matter which I choose, the menu goes away, I get a brief spin of the hour-glass piece on the cursor and then nothing.

Exactly the same problem. Worked perfectly on Win7, but doesn't on Win10 now.

I'm assuming that this still happens after a reboot.
Could you have a look in your event log for any entries related to Transformed?

To get to it, press Start, type in "Event Viewer" and click on Event Viewer in the list.

On the left hand side, expand 'Windows Logs', and click on Application.

I'm specifically looking for events that are classed as "Error" or "Warning" and occur at the same time that you launch Transformed.

I just had this problem but I forced closed Steam, and selected the main game and it worked. Quit out of the game and the Configuration option works too. Hope this works for anyone else having this problem!

I'm not sure exactly what resolved the issue, but after a series of computer updates I thought to try my luck and see if it worked and it did. So weird..

Works perfectly on Windows 10 here (Professional x64). Guess I'm one of them lucky ones, and I know heaps have been having trouble with transformed on 10 :S

I'm just surprised .NET 4 wasn't installed by default on 10, which had to be installed. The only other thing I had to do was set the Compatibility Mode to Windows 7 on the Launcher for that to work..

The problem I had with this was that 'Configure' option just went away, the game itself started, showed the intro movie, then went completelyi blank on me. But then it could be due to my three monitors (the one in the middle being 2560x1080, and the other two being 1920x1080) Windows 10 itself seems to have some weird issues with this setup.

try having the game start in windowed mode,

Set Launch Options
Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
Under the General tab click the Set launch options... button.
Enter -windowed and click OK. (Include the -)
Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

let us no if this works
I have a problem with running the game in 3440x1440. Switching to a lower res works. Running with Win10 with Anniversary Update. Running with Nvida 375.70 drivers.

Right click on game
Select configure
Select graphics
Set screen resolution to 1280x720 and/or Set display options to windowed/fullscreen
