Changes in the new patch are riddiculous
Matchmaking takes more time, because it's skill based now - I get that, but I don't really want to compete against T3 (I'm T2 now), because my skill won't matter in a fight with someone who has better ship, mods and weapons. Besides, there was a poll about matchmaking and people wanted to leave it as it was, from what I remember.

If that's not enough, we have to grind more for new ships - now it takes around 1 million credits more to get a T3 ship. That's also understandable, because now they come with pre-installed mods... but still I'd rather buy and install my own mods. An option to choose between a 'clean' and 'packed' ship would be nice.

Last but not least, a real nail in the coffin, when you combine it with higher ship prices and harder battles - loot is now worth 1/3rd of what it used to, thus instead of 60k I earn 40k per match won.

I really like Star Conflict, but making it more grindy and frustrating (mixing tiers) wasn't a good decision...

played a couple of mixed games and didn't find them to be bad. I didnt have any trouble killing a t3 ship with my t2. Sill based is better but ship restrictions should be kept

servers just went down for maint.

The biggest joke besides the bugs they put into the patch are:

loots are ony 25 percent of what they used to be
putting crappy modules in the ships to make them even more expensive

btw spending 20 euros fuer an ingame ship? are u kidding me? thde devs are killing this game beforei t really started.

What do you expect?
It's Gaijin, they did exactly the same thing with War Thunder and now they are trying it in Star Conflict.

I've been playing War Thunder briefly, not long enough to make any statements about what Gaijin is doing in that game. However, just from sheer curiosity I've visited WT forums and Updates discussion thread and boy, that's so much criticism getting totally ignored... makes me wonder why do they even bother with stuff like Polls in Star Conflict, since they're doing whatever they want anyway.

I have the biggest complains regarding the in-game prices. Things were grindy even before the current patch, and right now it's just way too bad. Also the 'brilliant' idea to put mods to a new ship, thus increasing its price significantly - most of those standard mods are trashy anyway, I'd rather fly with nothing and save for a better mod, than fly with standard eq.

sorry guys, but ive been playing this for a couple of days now, i have a T2 and think the game is cool, a bit jerky but its in its early stages...dont dervs always please themselves, it is their game..!??

I've only been playing a week and its starting to lose its fire rather quickly. I enjoyed the progression system and ships being cheap enough that you only had to win a few matches to be able to afford and try them all out. Now that a T2 ship costs around 1mil and net income per match is less then half of what it used to be, I just can't be bothered anymore. I don't have the time or energy to grind for that much cash to figure out what my play style even is. The game itself was a near-flawless, golden idea. The devs lack of responsiveness and understanding over what the play community want is pulling this now-poor-excuse of a game into a hole that it might never come out of.
When this game first launched on Steam I thought it was very good with the potential to be great, and I was recommending it to all my friends.

Since then, each patch has taken it in the wrong direction, less fun, less balance, more grind, more pay2win. Player feedback is completely ignored, number of active players is 1/5 of what it was when I started.

Friends, don't bother with this game unless it gets back on track.
