I NEED GFWL HELP!

Hi, I have been trying to play DS1 for a while now. I have tried everything I could and googled everything I can yet no solution will work to fix my Dark Souls so that I can save. I have tried the DSfix too and that didnt even work with my client. I have uninstalled and reinstalled more times then I can count and all I want to do is just play this game.

If you could help me or anybody else having this issue that would be great.

I'm having the same problem. I have a feeling it has something to do with GFW and it's supposed "shut-down" that's supposed to be happening this month. Other GFW games are not even letting me open the guide menu.

GFWL isn't shutting down. That was some rumor started... They are continuing to support it but not doing a very good job of it.

I think I have your same problem. I have just reinstalled the game on my new pc and I can't play online because GFWL says that I have already redeemed the CD-Key on another account, when the account is the same.

Right click on Dark Souls and click view CD key. If you put that in when it pops up it should work.

Lads, this is what's up! took me far too long to get this information, but I ended up calling Microsoft, some lady who talked with me for an hour or so told me to call the Xbox support peeps (even though it was a problem concerning GFWL). I did this, it was this number: 877-274-4349. The guy walked me through a number of things to try and remedy the problem, worked up a ticket etc. My issue hinged on the fact that I had 2-factor authentication for my Microsoft Account which was unable to be used to authenticate when I was in game (both Dark Souls and Mortal Combat Kollection).

Source: I bought DS from streamsale, couldnt save progress for days, got fed up, made some calls. Spread the news!

Try downloading the latest version of gfwl it doesnt download automatically

I was thinking about giving microsoft a call, but I have already tryed that and it was not the issue unfortuantly. I appreciate the help though buddy :)
