Level 23 Earthbound perfect solution?

I am short of 4 spirits and can't figure out better way than dig through to alter the wind pattern. I tried searching the YouTube but did not find it. Since I am so far off the perfect solution, I must be missing something really important. Any hints?

Releasing the wind is the way to go and you have to dig down from where the plant on the far right is. Before that try to use the grow skill precisely so the spirits walk up on the highest ground where the 3 plants are. To get the plant on the very left (above the pile of leaves) wait until you have released the wind.

thank you for explaining a solution. i followed your instructions and came pretty close (17/18).

i have no idea where i could spare another spirit, anyone else maybe?

one more hint: you don't have to dig three times to get up on the platform with the three plants. You just need to use two spirits to get up there. Try to use grow and dig in combination ;)
