Just me or is this game really boring?

I try playing this game, but I just can't. I find the game ''Really'' boring. I have played ''Arkham Asylum'' and ''Arkham City'' and I loved those games, but there is something that puts me off about this game? Does anyone else feel the same way?

No, not at all. I liked the story in origins, boss fights are good fun, detective mode is a bit cooler, only thing I find a little different is clunkier combat.

I don't feel the same way. The story is good, the only bad thing is the confusing map. If you've been reading a lot of other people's opinion/reviews/comments then it's also possible that your preception of the game is affected.

Actually every review I have read said the game is good, it's just that the game is really buggy. I haven't encountered any yet (Probably because they're patched)

I know what the op means... something's lacking in the design, and the world doesn't really make sense. Why is gotham so empty? Only played a few hours but feels so meh to me so far

Gotham is empty because of a massive snowstorm forecast. Also it's Christmas Eve, so uh, stay home with the family? And oh yeah, the sky high crime rate too, you don't want to be out at night.

A part of my problem with the design is that they're calling what is essentially just the segmented off section of Gotham that is Arkham City plus Blackgate and calling it all of Gotham. Makes me feel like the designers didn't quite get what actually happened in City.

Huh? Pioneer Bridge, Burnley, Coventry, and the Diamond District was not in Arkham City.

These are given as reasons within game, but the are sort of flimsy. People would still be moving around.

No, this is "Old Gotham". The newer section of the city is on the mainland. Hell you can see from the gameplay area in both AC and AO.

As Rellik noted, there are several new areas added in. The "old" world isn't just repainted, it was completely rebuilt.

OP i got that same exact feeling when i was playing the game at the start. you just have to get through that point and youll start getting into the game more. just push yourself into playing it more and everything will start to be enjoyable.

Agreed, it would have been at least nice to be able to stop random muggings, ala the Political Prisoners in AC. The thug on thug fights and thug on cop fights are just not enough.

One issue I have is the enemy AI. In campaign challenge arenas, I've seen multiple times where the enemies just follow each other in a line. I do enjoy the side missions and the detective stuff though.

Well I can tell you this much I have put in 30 hours & it never really got past the boring stage. I beat the game around 22hrs & the other 8 were spent just collecting the rest of the crap. Worst part is that I beat the game & collected everything on playthrough 1 & apparently I'm only 48% done. Now I haven't played the NG+ or "I am the night" or did any of the MP or challenge mode but seriously beat the game & got almost everything done & only 48% done??? So I can honestly say if you haven't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ past the boring part yet you wont, you'll have to force yourself to play through or just quite.

i payed the game and completed it in a week it was draging on in the story but the fetures were the best in the game and i have not played the dlc or frozen heart which frozen heart the messed up the batman you play in normal games by rocksteady and if i didn't go in detail on why frozen heart is crap just say so

just wait for arkham knight the actual sequel to arkham city.. this game isnt even by the same company.. its not terrible.. but its not good


this game is like pleather.. its a fake version of a good game
