First off: This game hates Windows 7.
Secondly, I have worked out all but one of the kinks, hence the title. For whatever reason I can play Skyrim or Far Cry 3 or what have you on their highest graphical settings, HD Texturepacks included, as well games like TES: Arena or Quake with no problem, but for whatever reason this game, whether on highest or lowest graphical settings, makes my computer sound like a jet.

I have looked back in the forums to see this problem arise several times, with only one person who offered a solution; 'Speedfan'. After installing it I was assault with Malware and Adware, and then read online that no matter where you download Speedfan, it's going to come with those, so I'd rather stay away from that.

In short; Is there any way to stop my computer from hitting Mach speeds without the use of Speedfan?
