Mac Problem
So today I bought The Witcher on my Mac. I suspected opening it and being able to play but that didn't happen. When I opened it the whole intro sequence started but the video stopped right at the beginning and the audio cut out as well. A few seconds after some dialogue started playing then cut of and went to a black screen with my cursor popping up on the screen for a split second. While that was happening I couldn't do anything so I had to force quit the game. Just wanted to know if any of you could help :)

Same here, I bought it something like 2 years ago on mac and I was already struggling every time I tried to launch the game.
After not playing for a long while I wanted to get back to it but it doesn't want launch at all...
If anyone knows how to fix that...

Ok I remember how I used to do.
Try to go to library, right click on the name of the game, go to PROPERTIES then LOCAL FILES.
Click on VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE.
Steam should check the files and download the missing ones.
I Just did it and it worked fine.

I remember though that I had to do it from time to time when the game wouldn't launch
