KOTOR 2 PC - The camera is spinning with and without a controller connected.
This occurs if you have a program called 'VJoy' installed. It will need to be fully uninstalled from your Control Panel/Programs and Features menu.

We're also investigating other third party programs causing this conflict but VJoy looks to be the most commonly reported.

Please check that you only have a keyboard, mouse, and supported controller plugged into your USB ports. If you have multiple devices connected, the game may improperly detect multiple inputs resulting in this issue.

If the problem continues, please open a ticket with us. http://support.aspyr.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

So you are experiencing spinning with NO CONTROLLER plugged in? If so, please send your dxdiag to our support team at support.aspyr.com

Hello, I have summited a ticket. i do feel it is possible that it is the Vjoy however i have tried many ways to uninstal it. I have gone through device manager, uninstal programns, searched for fines on my C drive, going through the command promt to find the profgram file name but it keeps coming back.

I only have a mouse, keyborard, HD screen and Brother printer connected to my computer .

Hello again i would like to throw in a quick update. Vjoy was in fact ths issue. I did delete it but it kept coming back because it had a hidden driver SOOOOO please make sure to look for not just Vjoy under Device manger but also go throgh the hidden drivers at the same time to make sure it is completely gone. Thank you <3

Thanks for the update! In the upcoming patch, we will make the game simply ignore Vjoy, so that you dont have to uninstall it :)

I'm having this problem with the spinning camera, also my character runs in a direction non-stop... I disconnected my controller and tried playing with just keyboard/mouse, but the issue also happens without a controller connected.

This is a serious problem, it makes the game nearly unplayable. It happens after every time there's a story cutscene. If I exit the game and unplug/replug my controller before starting the game, it works until there's another story cutscene. Traveling to other planets causes it too, any time there is a cutscene. I've tried playing without the controller connected and the same bug still occurs after every cutscene. I've tried reinstalling the game twice and the problem still occurs... I have a broken game.

Also I don't have vjoy installed, never have had it installed either. The only USB devices I have connected are keyboard, mouse, and controller.

*edit* I think I found the problem, seems to be fixed now:

The game doesn't like my Saitek Gamer's Keyboard. After I unplugged it and plugged in an old Microsoft keyboard instead, everything seems to be working without the problem after the cutscenes. It's a shame, cause I like the Saitek keyboard much better than this one.

The first time I tried using a controller in KotOR II, it wouldn't detect it until I unplugged keyboard, mouse and controller from USB, then plugging the controller in before keyboard and mouse. I had to do that again to make it properly enable the controller in-game, but there don't seem to be any problems so far.

So yeah, it was the game having issues with my Saitek Gamer's Keyboard.

I've having this same issue. I run into two types of glitches. First the game worked okay. After a cut scene it would mess up and when I came out of the cutscene the character would be stuck moving forward and the camera would spin. I was able to make it to Telos and now I'm running into problems. No matter what I do, I either start the game up and once I get to the title menu, the options keep going down to "Exit". And if I do manage to get into the game then the character is stuck running forward no matter what I do.

I've played with a controller and with the controller unplugged. I'm using an XBox controller and have not installed any special software. I have a wireless logitech keyboard and mouse combo but I've stopped using the mouse and used a wired mouse in it's place. I do not have any Logitech gaming software installed. I've also disabled the old mouse in my devices so there would not be any issues over what mouse is active. I do not have vjoy installed. I really want to play this game, and I was! But now it seems like I'm forever stuck moving forward.

Any suggestions as to how I might fix this?

EDIT: Turns out I did have some old software called motionjoy I was using for PS3 controller support a while back. I removed it and rebooted and that seems to have fixed the problem.

For me, the spinning doesn't happen right away, but after showing a cutscene it starts. My workaround is to quicksave, quit to desktop and then start the game again. I have tried unplugging my controllers, but this doesn't help. Don't have VJoy, but I think it might be my Logitech or Swiftpoint software. I won't uninstall those for this, but rather keep using the workaround.
