Is there a lore-friendly mod improving weapon models?

Basically I'm looking to improve the weapon models, anybody who played this game knows that they are absurdly low-res low-poly extra-ugly sometimes. I found some mods that change the models but the new guns hardly resemble anything that would actually fit in the starwars universe.

Google eventually lead to to some ancient forum posts that point to a mod that does just that, however all download links lead to a now non-existent LucasArts forum thread.

Also I should mention that the mod has to be TSLRCM compatible. I refuse to beleive that no such mod exists.
