Why does Bao-Dur whisper so much?

I always found that to be so interesting in regards to his character. Never understood why he was always whispering in his speech...

Gotta say he is the most underrated character of the game though...a crushed war veteran who just wants to forget about everything he did in the war and lives in regret...thats just something you don't see in a video game, yet very common with real war veterans.

Don't trust him he's only good for repairing the droids, other then that he can shush and clean the ship.

If you watch TCW you'll see that's not the case. Even Maul speaks louder in the show 9and Star Wars Rebels for that matter) Though I do wonder why these two whisper.

Im not so sure I understand it either, too lazy to look up on Wookiepedia, but aren't Iridonians like a specific species of Zabrak? Kind of like how with humans, you have Europeans, Africans, Asians etc. And in Star Wars you have Corellians (specific type of human from Corellia), Coruscanti and Eruidians.

I think its the PTSD. I take care of an individual with PTSD (and depression on top of that) and his voice pattern is very monotone, almost a near whisper. I think that's what the voice actor was trying to emulate. A PTSD or victim suffering from traumatic induced depression.

Everytime i go to sleep i heard Bao-Dur in my head hes keep whispering without ending: Good to see you General i though i never see you again. Anything you need General? what is it General? Welcome back general. AAAARGGGHHHH!!! make him stop! I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!! give me a blaster!
