What's odd was pre-release reviews were glowing, the let's play demo vids on YouTube made it look like a decent game. Now most reviews, well the good ones, rave about the potential, while admitting the game falls short.
Not the 1st company to make a crap game, it won't be the last. Will say though, last Kalypso product I'll ever buy for more than 5 bucks.
Repetitive and slow gameplay.
Maybe that's why i liked Omerta City of Gangster demo, cuz it was too simple. I'm never good with those games that are too complex.
It's a shame for those who want a deep gameplay and it could have been a very good game, but yeah it's too simple.
This is why games dont release demos .. with no demo and paid off reviewers they can scam millions more .
This game made the mistake of releasing a demo .. glad they did .. saved me 40$
by 'real reviewer' you mean anyone who happens to agree with you? . And by 'paid reviewer' you mean anyone who disagrees with you. lol , what nonsense.
I wouldn't say that I was trolling? Just airing my frustration. I am 32, work a 50+ hour week and run a busy house. Time is limited and I have had steam for only a short while - console convert.
Having said that, I have been gaming now since the age of 7. I have owned every console and played every game worth playing. It pains me (greatly) that I do not have the time to play like I used to, but unfortunately real life has very much taken over.
This does not however limit my ability to give an opinion of a game. I agree, I only gave the game 1 1/2 hours (in fact I am suprised I lasted even that long) but, having payed £30 for this title I would have expected a certain level of depth.
I do not feel, even after 1 1/2 hours play that this was delivered.
To say it is like a book critic reading the first page, is just silly. A much better analogy would be buying the Lord of the Rings trilogy in hard back and opening it up to find its pages contained Spot the Dog!
