I tried out the demo first and let me tell you that despite the high price it is It is still a good playable game. It may not be like gangsters 2 but It still has that good feeling in it. The game may not be as rich or deep in details but it still has its good points. I wouldn't put yourself down about paying $39.99 in US dollars for this game because It does decent graphics.

Someone else summed it up - It's a flipping flash game!

Yep, bad game. Wouldn't feel as ripped off if I had payed around 5 bucks for it. 40 was way to darn much for this stinker.

What's odd was pre-release reviews were glowing, the let's play demo vids on YouTube made it look like a decent game. Now most reviews, well the good ones, rave about the potential, while admitting the game falls short.

Not the 1st company to make a crap game, it won't be the last. Will say though, last Kalypso product I'll ever buy for more than 5 bucks.

Yes you should always read real reviews from people who have played the game before you buy it. Not IGN or PC Gamer or any of the paid reviewers. Get your info from a real reviewer.

I'm just glad I downloaded the demo. I was really looking forward to the game but the demo told me all I needed to know. It is dreadful.

I liked the demo, but i feel the full price is way too much. Might get it for 5$ but not much.

Repetitive and slow gameplay.

It's amazing, because EA has just done the same thing with SimCity. Are moronic Zygna-style Facebook games SO popular that game developers think they can simplify what could possibly be a fun, complex, REAL game, into a piece of crap worthy only of a social network?

Maybe that's why i liked Omerta City of Gangster demo, cuz it was too simple. I'm never good with those games that are too complex.

It's a shame for those who want a deep gameplay and it could have been a very good game, but yeah it's too simple.

This is why games dont release demos .. with no demo and paid off reviewers they can scam millions more .

This game made the mistake of releasing a demo .. glad they did .. saved me 40$

This game is absolutely shocking and way too easy. Why can they not get a game like gansters 2 again?

Op you have spent a whole 24 hours on your most played game and 1.4 hours on Omerta...Whats up with these reviews? My lord the trolls steam brings. Its like a book critic that pick up a book reads the first page and then gives a review afterwards..

I wouldn't say that I was trolling? Just airing my frustration. I am 32, work a 50+ hour week and run a busy house. Time is limited and I have had steam for only a short while - console convert.

Having said that, I have been gaming now since the age of 7. I have owned every console and played every game worth playing. It pains me (greatly) that I do not have the time to play like I used to, but unfortunately real life has very much taken over.

This does not however limit my ability to give an opinion of a game. I agree, I only gave the game 1 1/2 hours (in fact I am suprised I lasted even that long) but, having payed £30 for this title I would have expected a certain level of depth.

I do not feel, even after 1 1/2 hours play that this was delivered.

To say it is like a book critic reading the first page, is just silly. A much better analogy would be buying the Lord of the Rings trilogy in hard back and opening it up to find its pages contained Spot the Dog!
