I did not get an activation code

I bought AC3 and now when i run it it opens in uplay and it asks me to write the activation code i did not get

open ur steam overlay and on the right side it should say something like CD Key, Click that and use that on uplay

also u dont need to do that you can just right click the game in ur Library and it should also say CD Key or on the right where the community hub and other stuff is it also has this option so u can get the key thru there
