FIX for AMD/ATI crashes

Having been on with Besthesa support over the past few days. They have finally provided a fix for the crash.

download this file;
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15959699/atioglxx.dll

place it at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DOOM 3 BFG Edition\

You should now try launching the game.

Just wanted to chime in here, I had the problem where it would crash on the security monitors (6870), and i saw new amd drivers JUST got released. Tried them out before using that file, and it works now! So people should be able to just update to latest CCC and drivers, and should work without needing to use that dll file.

it didn't work for me, I have windows 8.1 and ive tried everything, I have no viruses everythings up to date I tried your fix, it just crashes when it goes to change resolution to start the game and says doom 3 bfg edition has stoped working

I dont have a crash issue but I have a dumb nonstop flashing super mega spazzing screen. Just reinstalled my 14.4 drivers and still nothing different. Tried using that file as well and nothing :(. Never had an issue with this game before till now for some reason.
