I'm the crybaby who was just crying an hour ago aboiut doom 3 BFG not working. Well after reading these discussions, I decided to try one persons fix, I went to the hp site and downloaded the graphics drivers for my radeon hd 4200 even though its a brand new machine, different drivers? Well needless to say, it's a bomb-ass game! Now I can save all that beer for tonight. You people are all right.

Thats your problem right there, radeon hd 4200 is not supported by the game, check the minimum system requirements next time.

OS:Windows vista/ Windows 7
Processor:2.0 GHz dual core
Memory:3 GB RAM
Graphics:NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT / ATI Radeon HD 5750, 512 MB video RAM
Hard Drive:11 GB
Sound:Windows compatible sound card

Thnx. I appreciate your info. I dont really know what happened. I was told today I might have issues with my card. Thnx again
