Game crash on load screen
i cant find anyone else with this problem the game use to run great a few months ago, now when i play it doom 1 and 2 work fine but when i play doom 3 it dose not crash until i get to a loading screen this is very odd can anyone help?

The same at me.
I don't know what is the problem.
The only change at my PC since my last play is a VGA driver upgrade (13.4 WHQL driver for AMD)...maybe this would be the issue for the game?

Start a privat multiplayer match( till warmup). (should work)
Leave the match and try loading your savegame again.

keep in mind that that the next time the game crashes on you you have to repeat that step again.

My bet is that AMD ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up with the 14.4 WHQL Driver

I had the same problem until just a few minutes ago. Turned out the driver was corrupted.
My suggestion is to completely uninstall your graphics driver through Device Manager, reboot, reinstall it, then reboot it again.

I get the same crash with the 13.4 WHQL driver. Sometimes it crashes to desktop upon starting my game, sometimes it doesn't. Is it AMD then?

Turns out everyone with these drivers are having the same issue. I sent a support ticket to AMD.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, had to update to 13.4 to get max payne 1 and 2 to work, just bought doom tonight and now it wont run! Grr!

Start multiplayer then quit then try start your save game again, it might work. There is nothing wrong with your save. As soon as AMD fix it your save will work again.
