No, and you can't use cheats either. Your best option for mods are Zdoom and Zdaemon.

If you have this, or any form of Doom and Doom 2 then you have the WADs. Those 2 programs just act as launchers that can run the games like they were meant to be played. And, also you can use mods on the WADs that way...custom WADs, and so on. ZDaemon I like because it is online multiplayer custom modded doom. With survival, CTF, death match, co-op, and so on.
