Co-op?

Sorry, there's no official co-op mode in Doom3 or BFG edition. There was a mod or someking of patch to implement co-op multiplayer to the original game back in the days DOOM 3 was released. Maybe there's something like that somewhere out there on the net.

The only version with official coop was the great XBox (the original one) Port.
That was just the BEST.

Unfortunately it seems like all PC Mods only work with the original Doom 3, not with the BFG Edition. So no coop, and no graphical enhancements.

But the original and classic Doom and Doom II have multiplayer coop feature (modem, IPX network, serial). Why this games don't come with this feature? :\

why did they give BFG edtion and Doom 3 vanilla co-op their conosle ports but not pc? that doesnt make much sense

I don't remember where I heard this but basiclly the Doom 3 on consoles was really watered down compared to the PC version. Entire areas and graphical shenanigans were missing from the Xbox version. To make up for this they implemented a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ coop mode. It worked but it was terrible back in the day IMO. Add the fact that Doom 3s netcode is pretty horrible and no one really wants to touch anything too much.
