Having some problems with the 360 controller
When I try to config the wired 360 controller (first party) the walking pad seems to be stucked in the right bottom corner. The in-game menu keeps rolling and the character in the game walks alone in this direction. Happened in all Ys games (Have the four available here, on steam) Hope someone can help. Have some days off and I'm eager to play this series.
Thanks ahead!

Spent some time with the other Ys and it is the same. Did try to remove the deadzone and other aspects in the configuration menu, but the rotation is still stuck and it is impossible! The in-game menus are constantly changing because of this and the character keep moving in the same direction. Oh, the pain with kb+mouse!

This is also happening with my Dualshock 4 unfortunately. Trying to find a fix to no avail.

Yeah, this is unfortunate. I bought a Dualshock 4 so I wouldn't have to mess with the DS3's awkward unnofficial drivers anymore, but something about the way the axes are set up doesn't play nice with certain directinput games.

The devs listen to their fan base and Ys is a great series, but depends on it's niche. They might actually do something, that would be great. It is a shame. I bought all the 4 games to play with my 360 s pad. The demo worked all right, though. go figure.

It's because the Dualshock 4 doesn't have a deadzone, but the controller config is trying to account for one even though it doesn't exist. And for whatever reason when you set the deadzone in the config to nothing it doesn't save. I was hoping x360ce would help fix the problem, but the game doesn't seem to like x360ce and I can't get it to accept controller input but also ignore my DS4.

Yeah, I tried that, too. It's really bizarre, though... Ys I and II both show neutral being read as up/left in the config (just like Origin and Felghana), but the analog works fine in both of them during actual gameplay (well, I needed to opt into the beta to get the stick to work at all in II, but that's another issue).

I wound up having to use my old DS2 controller with a USB adapter. Only thing that works
