Can't start thread or post on DDO forums (Help needed)

I used to play this game many years ago. Decided to come back to it with some friends. Can't find any option to post on the forums though. When I scroll down to the bottom of the page (Posting Permissions) it says I can't post or edit. Does it take a certain amount of time before I am allowed to make posts on the forum?

Yes, different account types i.e. VIP and F2P have different forum "rights."

I know this is pretty basic, but... Are you signed in? Forum accounts are now generally the same login as your game account. Can't remember how long ago that changed, but probably since "many years ago".

OK, but .. idr exactly how they handled converting old forum handles to the new ones. If you're logged in with the old one, it could very well be restricted from posting.

Then if it hasn't self-cleared by now, you might want to post a ticket.

I have exactly the same problem. How do I post a ticket? I thought f2p players had no access to Turbine support?

This post is years old. the account creation page for this game and its forum has been broken for weeks. cant post on forums or play the game and no word from Stone Street Games on what the problem is or any fix. They dont seem to be interested and or want new customers.

I do know (because it happened with me) if you don't post for quite a while it resets and you have to start out in the New player section for a bit before you get your full posting permissions back.
