The cable is USB, The amp is 1/4" ... Where exactly did I say anything about an amp...?
Start > Control Panel > Sound
Under the Recording tab, does it show the Rocksmith USB when connected? If not, it might be driver issues or damage. Else 'Set Default' to it, then try the sound recorder on that to check if a signal is coming through.
The bass has an EMG brand BTS model onboard preamp running at 18vdc not 9vdc like most. Yes, I'm plugging the TTC into the bass like a normal guitar cable. don't think there's any other way to do it.
Anyone else running a bass with an 18 volt OBP ?
I got a new cable. RS Techs said mine was defective, got a free replacement.
I've been using it since Jan with no problems.
I am using it with the
Spector NS2 US HAZ 9v,
Spector NS2J EMG BTS 18 volt,
Spector Euro5LX Alex Webster EMG BQC 18Volt,
Spector Euro4LX BTS 9V...
All 4 work great with the game.
