that was extreme but also realy funny ^(123.000 aliens killed^^)
thats the reason why this is better than creeper world 3 arc eternal:the mutations make that the enemy wont be outclassed through you...while in creeperworld (still a good game)you basicly won after you survived the first minutes......

i had bought 1 commander and 1 medpod as support for the mission....

strange ...terminus give 50k more than abyss hunt^^

both are hard but i think abyss hunt was alot harder^^.......or maybe rngesus was just with me at terminus

Abyss Hunt is easier if you...

Hint #1 - figure out how to avoid triggering mutations.

Hint #2 - Specifically, avoid capturing most vacant bases.

Even with abusing the no respawn in Hunt, I still think Terminus is easier than Abyss Hunt. The crawlers are just annoying, and dealing with groups of 2-3 hives becomes a lot more difficult. (I also find just going through the map with a maximum of 24 BP to be boring.)

Moneywise, the easiest money is in Terminus Raid. Because you get money per alien and hive killed, I will often clear $400,000 on that.

I was just comparing different styles of play on Abyss Hunt itself. I remember enjoying the challenge of Terminus, but I suspect I am a much better player now.

Money doesn't motivate me - I no longer use it. I've purchased all the tech upgrades, and have never purchased a consumable.

Update: So I have replayed both Terminus and Abyss Hunt. Using the strategy I suggested above, Abyss Hunt was very easy, much easier than Terminus, in my opinion. I just beat Abyss Hunt in 35 minutes of easy work. Specifically, build Life Support and Ammo Supply, use six marines, have one defend your base, the other five teleport onto and attack a hive. Aim grenades at the hive, but only fire them after the hive dies and the respawn creature appears. The first round of grenades should kill the respawn creature instantly. I captured only two points. And yes, it is so easy that it is sort of boring.

I bought all the support I could except for two. Sniper and something else. I forget. I remember playing the first time and not using any Commander abilities. Hyuck.
