Completed the game 100% Some achievements don't unlock

I've completed the game completely, but some achievements didn't unlock for some strange reason.

The achievements I'm talking about are The Gizzeled Boor and The Moon Grotto.

I didn't kill the boor and behaved well in the game (didn't kill it), but regardless of killing it, you either way get the key to the Moon Grotto, and yet, neither of them get unlocked.

I had some serious difficulty getting achievements to unlock too. Here's what I figured to do to get them to pop up and unlock. After achieveing each task an achievement requires, hit the "esc" button on your keyboard, return to main menu and wait for everything to pop up: the record, the completion bar, even their website logo. It may take about 30 seconds, but it seems to trigger achievements to go off. I'm not sure if it's a design flaw or if Steam doesn't register accomplishments the same time the game does. Either way that's how I figured out how to solve the problem. I beat 10 of the achievements before I got the We Got the Megatome one (the very first one in the game, lol). If you restart, doesn't take very long to play through especially with access to the Moon Grotto, you should be able to get through it and get your missing achievements.

I can confirm that. Achievements seem to unlock at the menu screen. Weird, but seems it keep track of the achievements only there

I can also confirm that they will unlock at the menu screen, but as loath as I am to say it, I really think sometimes acheivements in this game are plain old bugged. I'm having the same issue, as I've been trying for a week to get Mushroom Kingdom to unlock. I've tried everything including starting over and syncing my completed game from my laptop. Scores of mushrooms later and still nothing.
