Hi there,
You could try changing the resolution (if the resolution is supported) in the config.txt file (see below to locate the config.txt file). To do so, once you have opened the config file, modify SCREEN_WIDTH and SCREEN_HEIGHT to a smaller resolution like 800x600 and set the game window to windowed by changing FULLSCREEN to false. It may be useful to back-up the config.txt file before making such changes. If your changes prevent the game from running, or cause other undesirable effects, you can return to default settings by deleting the config.txt file and then starting the game (a new config file will be generated by the game).

Where is config.txt please?

Windows: The config file is located in your Steam directory. For example [steam_dir]\userdata\[user_id]\204060\local, where [steam_dir] is where Steam is installed and [user_id] is the Steam ID of the user who has the game installed.

Mac: The file is created in the Application Support folder: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/[user_id]/204060/local, where [user_id] is the Steam ID of the user who has the game installed.

Why? This makes no sense. :P

[steam_dir] is the directory or folder location that you have Steam installed in on your computer. [user_id] is your personal Steam user ID number so I wouldn't be able to tell you what that is for your specifically. Does that help to clarify?
